It might be this view of the Eurasian Eagle Owl swooping down! This was taken during the daily bird flights at the San Diego Safari Park a few weeks back. The interesting part of the narrative included a discussion on the owl’s food source – field mice. But the most interesting statistic they discussed was that a pair of mice left without predators in a field could produce up to a million mice in a years time!!
