Sharing moments in time…

Same house….different view!!

Okay, so I need to apologize for using the same house as a model – twice in one week!  But I hope you are as surprised and pleased by what was obscured the other day by the clouds.  This isn’t quite the same angle but about the same time of day – I think you’ll agree that the face of Grand Teton mountain in the background adds a little bit!  And OBTW – those animals you can see behind the farm house are all elk.  Lastly, you’ve got to love how the peak of the farmhouse echoes the mountain peaks.  Terrible place to be caught with a camera….

You can see why they call it Grand Teton

  1. This is another beautiful shot. The mountain is certainly majestic and makes for a powerful image. The hills in the (mid) background even look different in your original. I can’t imagine how many different looks this scene gets over the various seasons.

    • Maggie, I’ll try to satisfy your mountain “fix” over the coming days.

  5. Really is amazing what the clouds were hiding! I had noticed the house in your last post because of the lighting and that it reminded me of a Lincoln Log house. What a difference a day makes! Beautiful shot.

    • Thanks Angeline – If the mountains were visible the first day, I might not even have noticed the light on the farmhouse! Timing!
