Sharing moments in time…

Enter the Mountain Sheep

So the previous landscapes have been taken in the elk refuge – where there are thousands of elk!  But the reason we first walked there was that someone told us it was a good place to see mountain sheep – big horn sheep.  So yesterday we walked far enough into the refuge to find the sheep.  This first photo was one of our first glimpses of them so you can anticipate being bored by other shots of them over the coming days.  These guys climbed up from road level to a cliff above and were running/jumping across the rocks.  I tried to capture them going in and out of the shadows – I liked this shot especially as “junior” is trailing behind…..

A family affair?
