Weekly Photo Challenge: Simple
I had to think a little about this one. Started looking around the house for something simple and then went into my archives and started thinking about simpler lives as we have seen in places like Peru. In the end I chose this photo from Peru (from Agua Caliente – Just outside of Machu Picchu) – but more for the simple subject matter than anything else. I had completely forgotten about some of these old photos so thanks a million to the photo challenge!!

Thank you. We were walking through a market by the train station when I saw her. I only had time to do a quick snap and then catch up to my compadres – but a quick glance at the screen told me that I had caught a very nice moment.

Lovely image of life! And also, water is so sacred in some parts of the world. What we may take for granted here, is scarce over there. Simple, beautiful life.

Hi Marina – I had the same thought about the water. In many cases we may think others lead a “simpler” life but they also may have many more basic needs that we don’t worry about in our own “simple” lives…
