Sharing moments in time…

Weekly Photo Challenge: Sun

Had to dig deep into the archives to find something for this week.  Didn’t want to resort to a sunset picture so instead I found this sunrise picture.  This was looking across one of the mountain lakes in the Sierras outside of Bishop, California.  I used the tree to block most of the sun so that it wouldn’t totally wash out the picture.  The partial sky with the mountain scape and the perfect reflection made for what I think is an interesting capture….I had forgotten about it until this challenge so thanks for the reminder!!

Sun, Sky, Mountains and Lake - hard to imagine needing anything else.....

    • Amar,
It is one of many places in the Sierra that are spectacular. We take a backpack trip up there every year. Hike in to one of the nice lakes and then do day hikes without packs from there for a few days.
