Sharing moments in time…

He’s still not back??

Well I’m still looking for Scott too!!  He was here a couple of days ago but then he left.  I guess he went on to the next part of his trip – to the Glacier Fjords.  I hope he has better weather than he did while he was camping out with us bears……!  I’m sure he’ll write again when he gets back to civilization.  Stay tuned.

    • Thanks Marina – it was a constant issue of whether to highlight the bear or the bear AND its surroundings. I’ll be interested in your take on my mixture…..

      • I think that including the surroundings gives this photo a few things: sense of scale, perspective, a sense of place, and a beautiful unfolding of greens are they roll into the bases of the snow capped mountains. The bear could almost be meditating on the mountains, and you’d lose that if you cropped the shot to focus just on the bear. The photo has a sense of awe! I love your take on it!

      • Thanks Marina – you caught my intentions perfectly – especially the thought of the bear’s perception of his surroundings
