Weekly photo Challenge: Inside

I always seem like if i’m inside, I’m trying to look out and see what’s there….this is a view from the inside of a Church on Taveuni Fiji looking out to where the beach, reef and scuba diving are…..

Inside-out

Conversely, whenever I’m outside, I’m always trying to see what is inside……this was also from Fiji just outside a marketplace

Beautiful! I can think of so many metaphors for that church’s situation. The darkness inside, the beauty outside..
I wonder if churchgoers to that particular church become numbed to the spectacular beauty around them. Or if they can’t wait for church to finish so they can go out there again and see that view, or go scuba diving… I wonder if there are few churchgoers attending this church in the prime of their lives for scuba diving and surfing. πŸ™‚

    • Rach – don’t know the answers to any of those questions but it does make you wonder doesn’t it…for me, the outdoor view drew me back outsides quickly.

πŸ™‚ Perfect for a pastor/priest who wants to stick to short sermons on Sundays (or Saturdays or whenever this particular church meets). πŸ™‚ Hehehee
