Weekly Photo Challenge: From Above

While I don’t have any really “vertical” shots that I can think of right now, here’s one “from above” the city of Katmandu, Nepal.  It was really nice of the Kite to fly by as I was taking this….

    • Thanks – I love the whales tail on your blog. I managed to get a few of those shots in Mexico last year… 🙂

      • Cool, I love shots like that. I actually got that one in the Bay of Fundy Nova Scotia.

  2. I can almost here Sir Richard Attenborough narrating this. The series would be called Urban Predators or something like that.

    • Thanks Cheryl – the Kites were a common sight in the cities we visited – but this was my only opportunity to “get on their level” for a photo…..

    • TRS – these birds seem to thrive in the urban environments – we saw them in all of the major cities that we visited. The temple that I took this from sits high on a hill and provided a nice birds eye view of the metropolis…
