Sharing moments in time…

A simple thought on today…

As of today, we have a president who has decided that he will not comply with the simple conflicts of interest rules and reviews that every senior manager in the government must follow.  While it is not technically illegal, it is something that could have cost me my job when I was a government executive.  It just fills me with pride that he believes he is above that kind of scrutiny.  Not exactly a great example for a new administration that claims to focus on the needs of the people vs the entitled few.   Just a thought….

Couldn’t agree more! He definitely thinks and works as one of the “entitled” elite!

    • Sacramentolady – I was trying to be VERY sarcastic. I’m sorry that didn’t come across. Let me be clear – I am appalled by his disregard for this country’s institutions and norms.

      • Scott, I was pretty sure you were being sarcastic

      • Well I didn’t get to finish! I’m in total agreement with you. I have no intention of honoring that man with the highest title in this country. Thank you for your response.

      • Sacramentolady – 🙂
The second day of the administration drove me to another political post today. I’m really hoping I can get back to my photography posts!!

    • I agree Sue. Dee and I went to the march in San Diego this morning – a great experience. Then watched the white house press secretary YELL at the press because they disagreed with Trump’s estimate of the crowd sizes of the inauguration and the protests. Discrediting the press is the stuff that dictators are made of.

  5. Dear Scott, I can only agree. And the deep concern all over the world shows how serious this is. I also understand your wanting to go back to photography posts…I do not live in your country, but cannot let go of the disastrous thoughts and thinking this has brought on. If I only could be assured that there is a functioning mechanism that will remove this person if he goes too far? But I do not know if this is in your constitution?
